Pig Heart Dissection
PREPARATION
1. Compare the parts I have asked you to label from the "Pig Heart - Marking Guide" handout to the colour guide that is provided in class (feel free to take a picture of it).
2. I highly recommend watching the video below to prepare yourself for what a pig heart will look like and how to identify the parts. I don't have the ability to show each and every student, each and every part of the heart during the class block.

ASSESSMENT
1. You will have to label 10 parts of the external and 10 parts of the internal anatomy which I will mark prior to clean up.
2. Name 5 parts labelled A-E on the external anatomy and 5 parts labelled A-E on the internal anatomy on the hearts available at the front of the class (see samples below).
3. Complete the lab questions and hand in the sheets PRIOR to leaving the lab.
